This is the 3rd Annual Toma Color fun run to take place this year on Sunday, April 24th starting at the Plaza of the Governors on the Malecón. The purpose of the event is to promote health and happiness and came from an ancient Hindu ritual that celebrates the coming of Spring by coloring people. Come and join us fot a 5k or 10k run or walk.
What is Toma Color run?
Toma Color is a race inspired by the Color Run that started in the United States in 2012 and soon spread across the World. The Color Run is now in over 50 countries.
The initiative of bringing this race on the streets of Rocky Point, occurs in order to contribute something to our community, raising funds for solidarity purposes.
This event is open to anyone and you need not run, you may walk or jog. Last year we had people with children in strollers and wheel chairs. It is a great way to spend family time and all is for charity. Come meet the people of Rocky Point and learn more about our charities that we work with as a community.
